Vesa Korhonen brought up important divide in his presentation. There are old and new knowledge conceptions in school. The traditional standard paradigm includes transmission of knowledge etc. Instead, the reflective knowledge creation paradigm concentrates more in participation.
Media producation in school opens new literacy practices such as creative mediawriting, collaborative design/planning and multimodal expression. The presentation was concluded with a demand that we need to shift from media producation literacies to reflective knowledge creation paradigm.
